The competition in the student category emphasises on the creative application of colours to interior spaces. It aims to recognise and acknowledge outstanding works that go beyond furniture layout, structure or fittings, but one that incorporates well thought-out and innovative use of colour schemes. Entries in the student category can range from residential and office design, to exhibition design and retail design, and the projects entered may be exploratory and visionary design works or school projects answering a brief set by their tutor or the students themselves.

Individuals or teams may submit entries
Both members & non-members of IDC are eligible for awards
Projects must have been completed in the 2 years
